Why this matters
A visitor ID is only useful if it's stable — the same device has to resolve to the same ID even when the user actively tries to look like someone new. Cookies fail this instantly. A real device fingerprint doesn't, because it's derived from the hardware, not stored on it.
Run the test above a few times across incognito and cleared storage. The times-seen counter climbs and the visitor ID stays identical — that's the whole product working, live, on your data, with nothing to fake.
